Corinne Prince, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Settlement and Integration, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Corinne joined Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in 2008 as the Executive Director of The Foreign Credentials Referral Office (FCRO). She served as Director General of the Settlement and Integration Policy Branch from January 2013 until 2020; a role that allowed her to expand her network with settlement partners across Canada. In the fall of 2020, Corinne became Director General of Francophone immigration and of Part VII of the Official Languages ​​Act within the Settlement and Integration Sector and guided IRCC’s amendments to the Act of the Official Languages ​​until it was issued. In early fall 2021, during Canada’s extensive efforts to resettle 40,000 Afghan refugees, Corinne was appointed Director General of the Afghanistan Settlement Branch with the mandate to lead the activities of (re)settlement in Canada for Afghan refugees by bringing together the national operations and resettlement policies into one integrated organization. Recently, she became Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Settlement and Integration. In 1985, Corinne obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa and, in 1991, a law degree from the University of Calgary.
