A Must-See Event for Anyone Interested in Francophone Immigration

Previously known as the Journée de réflexion sur l’immigration francophone, the Annual Symposium on Francophone Immigration brings together academics, community experts and government representatives.

Major objectives:

  • Take stock of issues and opportunities related to Francophone immigration.
  • Foster ongoing discussions between communities, researchers and governments.
  • Increase the creation, sharing and dissemination of the knowledge required to drive action and implement strategies in the field of Francophone immigration.

In-depth reflection:

The presentations and discussions will also make it possible to establish research priorities, to examine various public policy approaches and to better ensure that those working in the field consistently consider the immigration-related expertise and roles of Francophone and Acadian communities.

The Annual Symposium on Francophone Immigration is coordinated by the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne (FCFA) du Canada. It is made possible through the financial support of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
