Originally from the Paris region of France, Isabelle Dasylva-Gill moved to Canada more than 15 years ago. She is currently Executive Director of the Société acadienne et francophone de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Between 2009 and 2018, she held several positions in the provincial government. Prior to that, Isabelle worked for the Association for Newcomers to Canada, helping new Islanders put down roots. She is very involved in and committed to her community. Isabelle has received various honours, including the Diversity Champion Award, in recognition of her leadership, volunteer work and other contributions. Among her academic achievements, she is a graduate of programs in both International Commerce and Business English, and she holds a master’s degree in Marketing Research and Strategy from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po). Isabelle has also received a Collaboration and Facilitation Certificate and a Business Certificate from the University of Prince Edward Island.
