Mohammad Mousa is Program Officer, Social and Human Sciences and Youth, at the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, where he has worked since August 2019. He has also worked with various other organizations in the NGO sector, both here in Canada and abroad. Prior to joining the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, Mohammad earned an MA in Political Science. His studies focused on nationalism and ethnic conflict. Since his arrival at the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, Mohammad has had the privilege of working on issues related to inclusion and the fight against racism, as well as on the International Decade for People of African Descent.
