Pascaline Nsekera, Director of Operations, Le Relais francophone de la Colombie-Britannique

For over 15 years, Pascaline Nsekera has worked in the immigration and settlement sector serving the Francophone community of British Columbia. Pascaline had the privilege to contribute to the creation of the very first settlement agency by and for Francophones in British Columbia, known as Le Relais Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique. In her role as Director of Operations for Le Relais, Pascaline manages pre- and post-arrival programs for French-speaking immigrants of diverse categories, including permanent residents, temporary residents and naturalized citizens. From 2009 to 2014, she worked as Coordinator for the Réseau en immigration francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (RIFCB), and from 2014 to 2021 as Manager of the Programme d’immigration francophone de la province, which gave birth to Le Relais Francophone. Pascaline holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and pursued additional studies in social work at the University of Victoria (UVIC). She was an immigrant and refugee herself and is originally from Burundi.
