Luisa Veronis, Associate Professor and holder of the Research Chair on Immigration and Franco-Ontarian Communities, University of Ottawa
Luisa Veronis is Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics and holder of the Research Chair on Immigration and Franco-Ontarian Communities at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on the social and political geographies of immigration, settlement, and integration of immigrants and refugees in Canadian cities, with a particular interest in Francophone immigration in minority contexts. She is co-director of the collection A National Project: Syrian Refugee Resettlement in Canada published in 2020 by McGill-Queen’s University Press.
