Roukya Abdi Aden, Manager, National Cooperation, Réseau de développement économique et d’employabilité (RDÉE Canada)

Roukya Abdi Aden has lived in Ontario since 1999. Originally from Djibouti (East Africa), she has held the position of Manager, National Cooperation at RDÉE Canada since September 2012. She is notably responsible for activities related to the four priority economic issues of RDÉE Canada and its members, namely: the Canadian economic Francophonie, tourism, economic immigration and the green economy. Before joining the RDÉE Canada team, she held several positions within the Francophonie. She was an Economic Development Officer at the Cooperation Council of Ontario (CCO), then Coordinator and Associate Director of Immigration at the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne du Canada (2002-2012). She holds a master’s degree in management and applied foreign languages.
