Rym Ben Berrah

Rym Ben Berrah is a Franco-Ontarian immigrant from Maghreb. Having worked for 10 years in the Ontario Francophonie in Ottawa as well as nationally and internationally, she is now in Quebec to complete a master’s in international relations. Rym was co-president of the RÉFO, sat on the board of directors of various organizations and institutions including La Cité, the Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario, the Centre de la Francophonie des Amériques, the Calacs Francophone d’Ottawa, FrancoQueer, Saint Paul University, the Théâtre Catapulte, the Youth Council for the former Premier of Ontario, etc. She is the recipient of awards such as the Prix Saphir, Prix Bernard Grand-Maître in the newcomer category, 2016 Ministerial Francophonie Award, Prix d’excellence Club Avenir, and has been a trilingual One Young World Ambassador since 2015.
